I paint women and flowers to explore the inner world of emotion and the outer world of home. I think quiet, personal moments, when we are alone with our thoughts, contribute to seeing life's beauty and wonder. A vase of flowers on a table, turns a house into a home. 

I work intuitively, letting the painting tell me where it wants to go. This way, I stay engaged and surprised by what comes and goes on the canvas.

I hope my work contributes positively to the visual history we all create for ourselves by what we live with every day.
